• The SHOP & SAVE Promotion is open to all members of Jamaica National Building Society or persons who become a JN member within the promotional period except JN Group staff.
• The promotional period is November 7, 2016 –April 31, 2017.

RULES FOR PROMOTION:

• To enter the SHOP & SAVE promotion, you are required to have any of the JN debit, credit, or JN Individual Retirement Scheme cards, these include; JN VISA Classic credit card, JN VISA Gold credit card, JN personalized debit card, JN regular debit card or JN Individual Retirement Scheme card. You are also required to download the JN Rewards web App which will facilitate entrants into grand prize draw.
• JN members must shop at any of the existing eighty one (81) JN Rewards Merchant Partners or any Merchant who becomes a JN Rewards Partner during the promotional period. You must either show or swipe any of the cards listed in clause (1) under rules for promotion above to get your discount .

• When you show or swipe your JN cards at JN Rewards Merchant Partner you will receive a discount, however, discount will vary per merchant partner.
• Each purchase equivalent to $1500 or more will receive a JN Rewards promotional scratch card. Each scratch card provides a code which must be entered into the JN Rewards App to be eligible for the grand prize draw. Each person will receive one scratch card per transaction of $1500 or more and each person can enter as many codes as possible into the grand Prize Draw.
• Eligibility for Prize will be governed by the following:
  • Participant must show proof of identity in the form of a Government issued identification card (Passport, Drivers License or National Voters ID)
    Any member of the JN Group has the right to use the winner’s name, voice and photographs for publicity purposes without any form of compensation, permission or notification. If any winner is not in agreement to use their photographs and or names, the prize will be forfeited.
• Rules for Prize Drawing:
  • A member from JN’s Internal Audit Department will be required to oversee the drawing of the Grand Prize for the Promotion.
  • Jamaica National Building Society in consultation with and prior approval from the Betting Gaming and lotteries Commission (BGLC) reserve the right to delay, terminate, or amend this promotion at anytime. In any of these event, notice will be given to the participants via an advertisement in the print media
• Method of Selection of Winners:
  • The winners will be selected using the Audit Command Language (ACL) Software by JN’s Audit Department.
  • The winners selected will be considered potential winners until they have satisfied a test of skill. Three (3) potential winners will be selected for all prize categories; grand prize, second and third prizes after which the test of skill will be conducted over the phone.
  • A phone call will be made to the first potential winner who will be required to complete JN’s tag line. The question “complete Jamaica National’s tag line” will be said by the JN representative. The JN representative will then say “WE’LL HELP… and the potential winner will be required to complete the tag line by responding“… YOU FIND A WAY” Upon successfully completing the tagline, the potential winner will be considered a winner.
  • Three consecutive telephone call attempts will be made to each potential winner and the potential winner will have one chance to answer correctly. If the JN representative has exhausted the number of attempts and calls are unsuccessful, the next preselected potential winner will be called and the process will continue until a winner is found. An unsuccessful attempt is considered when the phone rings without an answer, goes to voice mail, is busy or answered by someone else other than the participant the JN representative is trying to reach.
  • If after going through all the preselected potential winners and no winner has been identified, JN has the right to retain prizes.
• Prize & Dates of Selection/Drawing:
  • Grand Prize – A weekend trip for two to Atlantis Paradise Island in the Commonweath of the Bahamas. Room type (Beach Tower) Round trip airline tickets for two (2) on Caribbean Airlines plus five hundred United States dollars (USD$500) spending money
  • 2nd Prize - A Shopping Spree at Singer Jamaica valued at JMD$250,000.00
  • 3rd Prize- Six Months utility bill payment valued at JMD$60,000.00
  • All prize winners will be selected utilising the procedure outlined in clause (6) i -V
• Claiming Prize:
  • The grand prize will be drawn on Friday May 5, 2017 at Jamaica National Marketing & Brand Management Department, 75 Knutsford Boulevard, Kingston 5 at 1pm.
  • All prize winners must redeem their prize within ten (10) days after being contacted. If the prize is not claimed within the stipulated period JN reserves the right to retain same.
• The promotion and rules shall be exclusively governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Jamaica
• This promotion is “Authorized under Section 58(3) of the Betting Gaming and Lotteries Act”
