  1. Unless otherwise stated relevant to specific data on any channel related to Digicel MORE, the rights to all service data collected during the operation of the service related to Digicel MORE becomes the property of the owner of the service as set out in these terms.
     
  2. Any personal information submissions by you to, or through the service will exclusively be stored and used by the owner and managers of the service to deliver the service to you in an efficient manner as set out in these terms.
     
  3. Any profile information submissions by you to, or through the service will be stored and used by the owner and managers to tailor the existing and future service and content delivered or to be delivered through the service to you more relevantly, effectively and efficiently as set out in these terms.
     
  4. When you opt-in, or join a Digicel MORE community service on any of the Digicel MORE channels, you grant Digicel MORE your explicit permission to share your personal profile information and other relevant service data with the client for whom the community service is presented on Digicel MORE. It is your responsibility to review such a Digicel MORE client's specific terms and conditions of service including any additional privacy policies, copyright policies and the like. You hereby agree to indemnify the owner and managers and to hold us harmless from any loss, or damage you may incur as a result of your membership, or opt-in status to a client’s community service on, or through the Digicel MORE service.
     
  5. Certain public information may be obtained, stored and used by the owner and managers of the service based on your interactions on channels related to the service through various devices, browsers, connections and carriers that forms part of enabling delivery of the service. Public information may also be augmented by additional 3rd party public information obtained by the owner and managers in an effort to further improve effective delivery of content and the general service to you.
     
  6. The owner and manager retains the right to at its sole discretion, manipulate and translate any and all service data into a statistical information format for the purposes of publishing reports that can be made public to clients and other 3rd parties on a commercial, or non-commercial basis without any liability to you, provided no personal information directly identifying you as a user of the service is included.
     
  7. When you choose to contribute content to, or through the service, you do so entirely at your own risk and you grant the owner and managers of the service an unlimited license to use, modify, store, publish, share, distribute such content for commercial or non-commercial purposes with no liabilities, or obligation to the owners and managers of the service to remunerate you in any shape or form.
     
  8. Service data may be transferred across the national borders of your country of residence and stored in multiple international locations to make the service possible in accordance with Digicel MORE's legal terms of service, copyright and privacy policy. Additionally contributions made by you, may be published, transmitted or shared in any part of the world where the service is available in accordance with the general service terms.
     
  9. Reasonable efforts will be made by the owner and managers of the service to protect all service data obtained, stored and used, however in the event that the security of any service data may have been compromised you undertake to indemnify and hold harmless the owner, managers and all members, officers, servants, agents and duly authorised representatives of the owner of the service against all liabilities (including damages whether direct, indirect or consequential, expenses, costs and legal fees on an attorney and own client scale) actions, proceedings, claims and demands on all alleged claims and demands howsoever arising.

JN LIVE HUNT - Terms and Conditions

  1. The promotion JN LIVE HUNT is open to persons who is currently a JN member or become a member within the promotional period.
  2. Participants must follow Jamaica National on any of the following Social media platforms: (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook) or must utilize any of the JN Ebanking platforms, These include (ATM, JN Live, Text Banking, Debit Card)
  3. Participants Must be 18 years or older and must be a Jamaican National.

 

 RULES:

  1. The promotion will focus on challenges using the different mediums listed item (2) above
  2. Submissions for each challenge will be approved to ensure that they meet the requirements of the challenge. If submissions are declined, points will be removed from user profiles and participant will be notified via text message
  3. Approved submissions will be rewarded the allotted points assigned to each challenge.
  4. All participants will receive a digicel credit of $100 for registering

  6. The promotion is not opened to employees of the JN Group, namely: Jamaica National Building Society, JN Small Business Loans Ltd, JNBS Foundation, Management Control Systems Ltd, Manufacturers Credit and Information Services Ltd, The Creative Unit Ltd, Total Credit Services Ltd, JN Finance Ltd, JN Money Services Ltd, JN General Insurance Company Limited, JN Life Insurance, Jamaica Automobile Association, JN Fund Managers Ltd, JN Cayman as well as their immediate family members (parents, children, spouses and siblings.
  7. Eligibility for Prize drawing will be determined by the following:
    1. Any member of the JN Group reserves the right to use winner's name, voice and photographs for publicity purposes without any form of compensation, permission or notification. If winners are reluctant in agreeing to the use of their photographs and /or names, the Prize will be forfeited.
    2. Jamaica National Building Society (“the Society”), with consultation and prior approval from the Betting Gaming and Lotteries Commission (BGLC) reserves the right to delay, terminate or amend this promotion at anytime. In any of these events notice will be given to the participants via an advertisement in the print media.
  8. Judging for the prize winner will be governed by proof of:
    1. Identity in the form of a Government-Issued identification card, or one issued by the Society.
    2. A representative from the BGLC and a member from the Society’s Internal Audit Department will be required to oversee the drawing of the Grand Prize for the Promotion.
  9. Method of selection of winners:
    1. All points for every participant will be electronically tallied each week and the participant with the highest weekly score will be considered a potential winner weekly winner.
    2. If there is more than one participant with the same amount of points at the end of each week the potential winner will be determined based on the participant who first amassed the highest number of points for that week.
    3. All points for every participant will be electronically tallied at the end of the promotion and the participant with the highest overall score will be considered a potential grand prize winner.
    4. If there is more than one participant with the same amount of points at the end of promotion the potential winner will be determined based on the participant who first amassed the highest number of points for the entire promotion.
    5. The potential winner will be selected electronically and will only be considered a winner once he/she satisfies a test of skill. After selection, the potential winner will be required to complete the Society’s tag line. The question “What is Jamaica National tagline” will be said by the Society’s representative and the potential winner will be required to say “…WE’LL HELP YOU FIND A WAY” Upon successful completion of the tagline, the potential winner will be considered a winner. The test of skill will be conducted over the phone. Three consecutive telephone attempts will be made to reach the potential winner and the potential winner will have one chance to answer correctly. If the Society has exhausted the number of attempts and calls were unsuccessful, the next entrant in line from the pre-selected back up entries will be selected, likewise if the said entrant fails on his/her attempt to say the tag line correctly a new potential winner will be selected. A failed attempt considered is when the phone rings without an answer, goes to voicemail, is busy or answered by someone other than the JN member the Society is trying to reach. If after going through the back up entries no winners are identified the Society has the right to retain prizes.

  11. Claiming Prize:
    1. Weekly winners will be required to redeem prize within five (5) days of being contacted. Unclaimed prizes will be deemed as forfeited and retained by JNBS.
    2. all winners of prizes outlined herein will be selected utilising the Procedure outlined in clauses 9.1 - 9.5 above.
    3. The Grand prize winner must redeem prize within ten (10) days after being contacted. If the prize is not claimed or within the stipulated period JNBS reserve the right to retain same
  12. The Promotion and rules shall be exclusively governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Jamaica.
